3D Laser Scanning and Facade Measurements

3D Laser Scanning and Facade Measurements Laser scanning is a measurement method that uses laser technology to scan the surface of an object, structure or land in three dimensions with high accuracy in a short time. Laser scanning data is combined with appropriate software to create a holistic point cloud data of the object. The resulting data such as model, plan, section, orthophoto and mesh model etc. required by the project can be obtained from the point cloud. This method is generally used in fields such as engineering, architecture, archaeology, construction, mining and cartography.
